Note - Soil seed prices have increased recently, in many cases quite dramatically. Seed supply is quite low on some varieties due to drought conditions in the seed producing regions of the U.S. and Canada over the past couple of years. We'll do all we can to keep prices stable over the course of the year, but these prices are subject to change.

Ecoblend  formally called Merner's Mix, is a blend of grass seeds to be managed organically, without use of synthetic insecticides.  Ecoblend is endophytically enhanced grass seed that contains endophytes cultivars which improve their tolerance to stress of other non-beneficial insects and reduces fertility needs.  The Ecoblend contains the following:

• 35% Bladerunner Tall Fescue
• 15% Longfellow II Chewings Fescue
• 15% Applaud Perennial Ryegrass
• 15% Spartan Hard Fescue
• 9.5% Blue Sapphire Kentucky Bluegrass
• 10% Navigator Red Fescue
• 0.25% Redtop.
• 0.25% Clover

Grub-R Mix is specifically called created for drought-prone areas with heavy traffic and grub problems.  This specialty mix contains a majority amount of tall fescue, which is resistant to grub damage.  It is heat and drought tolerant, and has strong, hardy roots.  Grub-R mix is made of up of the following:  80% Mustang II Tall Fescue, 13.25% Cutter Perennial Ryegrass, and 6.5% Spartan Hard Fescue.

Grub-R Mix with Clover is the same mix as above, but includes 0.25% White Clover also
